I doodled up how Aria's armor works so yeah that's cool
Some design notes because my handwriting is illegible:
- The armor is functional as armor, but it's mostly there for decoration, to make Aria look more powerful
- So it's just a breastplate and some tassels
- to elaborate, the breastplate is like a raised dome and there are 4 metal tassels
- the metal tassels make it look vaguely like that draped cloth thing you see on princess gowns?
- okay update those thing are, no joke, they are apparently called swags
- princess swags are a thing, y'all
- anyway the tassels are held up by a corset thing that goes over her dress (i'm considering changing it from 1 belt to 2)
- Aria's dress is more robe-like compared to Sarah's probably mess of petticoats, Aria wears pants under that dress with boots
- A lot of her stuff is lined with fur, that's just her theme. Idk, maybe her country is cold?
- Aria's got gloves, it's just going to be super inconsistent whether I draw her with them or not
- Was also considering giving Aria forearm guards and gauntlets, but I got lazy
- same with greaves and sabatons
I guess designs are just massive headcanons....
