Divisive headcanon time: Dregg's a more responsible drunk than we think. He at least knows not to get too drunk on the job (impaired thinking doesn't help his detective work) and he knows to at least drink water once in a while to avoid dehydration. He's definitely a blackout drinker when not at work though.
